I’m Mary Ellen Robison and I am one of the 3 owners of Bonnie Blue Quilts and the author of our blog. I have been quilting since 1975, but avidly since I moved to Katy, TX and began taking classes with Paula Barnes. Paula, Marcie Wendrock and I began Bonnie Blue Quilts, in 2004, as an online quilt store. We quickly added traveling around the country to quilt shows. I’m a wife and the mother of 3 (2 daughters, 1 son), mother-in-law of 1, grandmother of 1 (#2 on the way!!!).

I started the blog because we travel and don’t have a brick and mortar quilt store. I wanted a way to “talk” and “share” with all of the new friends we have met through our travels. I hope you enjoy hearing about our “adventures”.
